Last Friday afternoon John and I paid our first visit to the Turkish market (Tuesdays & Fridays) in Eastern Kreuzberg. Disembarking from the U-Bahn at Kossbusser Tor station we crossed the Landwehrkanal
onto Maybusser street and directly into the busy oriental market
where everything from fruit, vegetables and flowers to hardwares and bolts of cloth are for sale.
At last we emerged to stroll along the leafy canal again.
A perfect way to spend a warm Spring afternoon after a week of intensive museum visits.
