The restaurant Soul La Roma came highly recommended for its North American-style comfort food.
It was only a block from our apartment in deepest Roma Norte so we often found ourselves looking for lunch there -- especially after a tiring morning walk.
Staff are consistently welcoming
and the interior, with it's motorbike theme, is both stylish and comfortable.

before I tucked in to some comfort food of my own
-- macaroni and cheese with bacon -- bubbling hot from the oven with ice-cold beer.
On our many satisfying visits Bill's most satisfying meal was his Sauber Burger -- a regular hamburger drenched in a three-cheese sauce,
and topped with crispy bacon slices at the table.
