Toronto Pride Parade

Bill and I had fun at the Pride Toronto parade this year. We spent our time at the pre-parade set-up on Bloor Street East.
Bill got the picture-taking started by walking into Bloor Street and asking these supporters of the GAYSTR8 Alliance to pose.
For the benefit of the camera these girls are saying, "We are the Savage Girls at Pride Toronto 2011."
I love it when people make an effort with their appearance.
Are we Aztec?
His Worship Mayor Rob Ford did not attend.
He was missed by a party of 1.2 million people.
On a happier note, this guy represented TD Bank.
Bill and I walked down Park Road
to Rosedale Valley, where I photographed Bill's favourite couple of the day.
Spirits were high.
Bill, a United Church-raised boy, was glad to see the UC Church out in full force.
After two hours in the sun we ran happily to our bikes and home.
