After John and I saw the Lupertz show at MAM on Saturday, we decided to walk to the Jardins de Trocadéro and the Palais de Chaillot, which have one of Paris' best views of the Eiffel Tower.
We passed the Deco statues in the gardens.
and joined the other tourists climbing the endless steps up to the terrace of the Palais de Chaillot.
We passed the vendors selling toys and souvenirs of the tower
until the Deco buildings of the Palais appeared.
Photo shoots of all sorts are constantly in progress.
Our duty done we scurried to the Trocadéro Metro station to fly back to our home base.
