Bill first heard The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahogany in NYC in 1978. The show featured Teresa Stratas. Jackie Kennedy was in attendance. Bill says that when she walked into the lobby with her escort the crowd parted as if before royalty.
Stratas was singing just as you see her here and Bill fell in love.
