A few steps from our apartment in Paris is a sweet shop called Gerard Mulot. Yesterday we saw this cake in the window. The icing looks like it was done by Gustav Klimpt. I've never seen a more beautiful cake for 50 euros.

Rebecca, we saw a tarte citron in the window yesterday -- maybe we'll just have to "bite the bullet", so to speak! So far, every day is better than the last.
ReplyDeleteWe just got up, it's getting on to 8 a.m., I'm eating goat cheese and tomato on a fresh bagette that Bill just bought from the bakery down the street. We're going to try to see the Manet show at the Musee D'Orsay today.
Mirror glaze, if it tastes as good as it looks Paul and Mary would make you star baker.
