After enjoying the exhibition of Madame Grès' haute couture in the Musée Bourdelle last week we had lunch at Le Bistrot de l'Ovalie, just a few doors down from the museum in Montparnasse.
Bill started with chevre cheese on toast with a little salad.
I had hard boiled eggs with homemade mayonnaise. They were both delicious.
We both had the day's special: canard (duck) on potatoes roasted in the duck's fat. We washed it down with their vin du moment -- the wine of the moment. It was all delicious and very satisfying. We finished with espressos and headed off to Vodun: the African Voodoo show at the FondationCartier.
