Caffè Doria

The Doria Pamphilj Gallery has its own elegant cafe accessible from the museum or at Via della Gatta, 1, behind the palace. It is of course suitably posh to suit its namesake.
John and I finally dropped by for espresso at the bar today and to photograph the wonderful interior.
 We like the Baroque dolphin
at one end of the bar.
It is repeated in the dolphin fountain that dominates the interior.
Venetian glass chandeliers and showcases of house delicacies
complete the cafes look. What fun!
