Rhubarb Tarts at Meert, Marais

Bill and I discovered Meert pâtisserie by accident on one of our evening rambles through the Marais area of Paris.
We were attracted by the display of pastries in the window.
As we gazed in, we fell into an enchantment.
We snapped out of our trance when we saw these rhubarb tarts and decided to buy one.
We each had half with expresso and hot milk.
Meert has been baking since 1761. We only see the tarts and cakes on Saturdays. Hey, today is Thursday...

    1. Hilarious, Shelley. We're already sure that despite all the aerobic tourism, we'll be very plump when we return to Toronto. I don't think we'll be able to eat extra portions for our friends.
