Berlin Surveillance

In a recent New York Times article William Gibson talked about walking in London and being struck by the abundant surveillance devices. I remembered what he said as I was walking through Berlin. He said, "...the street itself seeming to have evolved sensory apparatus in the service of some metaproject beyond any imagining of the closed-circuit system's designers."
I don't know if Berlin has more surveillance cameras than other cities but its the first time I noticed so many cameras so prominently and publicly placed.

  1. The little garbage/recycling containers look like they can move around by themselves. Guess that's why the camera is on them hehee.
